Emmanuel Gallery is pleased to announce our first exhibition of the Fall 2009 season. Metropolitan Biennial: Metropolitan State College of Denver Faculty Exhibition will open September 10 with a reception on Thursday, September 10 starting at 4:00 and lasting until 7:00. The gallery and reception are always free and open to the public. The exhibition will run through September 24, 2009. Join us as we celebrate the dynamic talents at MSCD.

Emmanuel Gallery showcases the professors of each of the three school’s art departments on Auraria Campus with an exhibition schedule that rotates each semester. These exhibitions prove vital to the education and sharing process of the community on campus as well as the local art scene. Many of the artists in this exhibition are represented professionally by galleries in and around Denver as well as sharing their expertise with the young artists they teach.

Tent Show Spokane

Spokane, WA - Saturday October 4th, 11am-7pm Riverfront Park

Coinciding with Spokane's "Fall Visual Arts Tour"


Tent Show: A Traveling Arts Encampment, originates in the Fine Arts
Department of Washington State University. Tent show is an art
exhibition that explores the boundaries of the field by operating
outside of the museum and gallery context. Participants are free to
experiment and to expect exciting, uncontrolled juxtapositions.
Participation in the Tent show is open to all interested parties. The
work must be able to be put up and taken down in one day, it should
require no electricity and be able to withstand the elements. This
unusual opportunity invites responsive, interdisciplinary visual
expressions, evolving collaborations, and performance.
